About the Author: Dr. David Sorenson is a third-generation independent Baptist pastor. His father and grandfather were fundamental Baptist pastors for over one hundred years before him. Dr. Sorenson has been in the ministry for over fifty-six years.
He retired after twenty-seven years as pastor and founder of Northstar Baptist Church in Duluth, Minnesota, where he now serves as pastor emeritus. He has continued preaching in churches all across North America. He is a nationally respected author and speaker on topics ranging from the King James Version of the Bible to marriage and family to eschatology. Over 100,000 copies of his books are in print and in use across the globe. Dr. Sorenson’s terminal degree is from Pensacola Theological Seminary, where he received a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2001. Throughout the course of his ministry, he has read through the Bible over three hundred times. Dr. Sorenson has been married for over fifty-six years to his wife, Pam, who is a native of Duluth. Together, they have two daughters.
