Dr. and Mrs. Tom Malone began the Emmanuel Baptist Church inside of a converted beer tavern, in Pontiac, Michigan during the early 1940s. The tremendous success of the church over the years includes thousands of active members, numerous other churches started within a fifteen mile radius of Emmanuel, a Christian day school and a four-year Bible college and seminary work.
