Danger of Delay, The

Paul the prisoner stand before Felix the judge—but it is in truth Felix who is on trial, trembling, while Paul reasons with him of righteousness, preaches to him of temperance and drives home the "judgment to come." And though Felix feels the truth and fears the result, he fails to take action and succumbs to Satan's suggestion to put it off until "a convenient season."

The time to be saved is NOW. In Dr. Riley's appeal to the unsaved, he urges that no one put off trusting Christ another moment. With words that cut close to the heart and with compassion that burns, his appeal also burdens that hearts of believers for this lost and dying world.
