Christ's Second Coming

The second coming of Jesus Christ is the blessed hope of every biblically informed Christian. Sadly, the great truths and teachings so clearly given in Scripture which attest to the certainly of the event have frequently been diminished in importance, altered in presentation or altogether ignored.

Dr. John R. Rice correctly explains the Scriptures which relate (1) the literal, physical return of Christ; (2) the miraculous restoration of Israel; (3) the pretribulation rapture, when Christians are raised up to meet Christ in the air; and (4) the circumstances and events which follow the rapture. The imminent return of Christ, which the Bible teaches, does not mean He is coming immediately. It does mean He could come immediately; therefore, all of us should live in full anticipation of His return.
