Behold the Lamb

When Joseph and Mary left for Nazareth for the sixty-mile trek to his ancestral home in Bethlehem, Mary was heavily laden with child. The arduous journey was barely completed when the birthing pangs began. There in that tiny village in the crudest of circumstances, she came to motherhood, and God came to earth. Her baby, the Lord Jesus Christ, was the Son of the Almighty.  He was the Messiah, the promised Lamb of God. As strange as it may seem to us, supernaturally the great God of Heaven chose this young girl, a virgin, to be the vehicle through which He would birth His Son into the world. That Baby was physically a human being, but prophetically and practically He was a lamb—God's Lamb. In this booklet Dr. Smith encourages us to behold the Lamb, God's personal Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ, who takes away the sins of the world.
