Baptismal Garments

We have used the culotte robes for all of our baptisms for many years. What a blessing they have been. They make the baptistry process so convenient and efficient. The robes are modest and appropriate for men and women. People may bring a change of undergarments, but it is not necessary because they do not become transparent or show through when wet, and the culotte legs hold the robe in place in the baptistry. We heat the baptistry every Sunday and give people who come forward to be saved the opportunity to be baptized right away, which many people are eager to do. The robes allow us to do this with total modesty and convenience. The simple one-piece style with the front zipper makes it easy for the person being baptized to quickly change in and out of and hang up to dry, helping us often get multiple people through the changing rooms and baptistry efficiently, and there is basically no cleanup because the robes shed almost all the water as the person leaves the baptistry. We also have the ladies and girls wear disposable plastic shower caps to minimize cleanup and eliminate the need for several women drying their hair for 10 minutes. Our baptismal robes are an essential part of our ministry.

We have been using ours for 24 years! We advise people to wear a swim suit underneath, and they are modest and just right for baptism.
