Arranged chronologically, this selection of twenty representative sermons allows us to hear the words that so stirred a young nation.  Some are revival sermons, calling for repentance; some are pastoral, some instructional, and others written for specific occasions.  But each one is a personal invitation to known God both through our intellect and through our affections.  Steeped in learning and human understanding, they challenge the mind and compel the heart to consider the love, forgiveness, and joy God offers us in Christ.
