Arty and the Hunt for Phantom

No longer a tenderfoot, thirteen-year-old Arty Anderson has become "Arty the Kid"--a tough Texas cowhand, complete with gun and holster, but he has yet to learn some of the unwritten rules of the Old West.  Arty's exciting adventures continue as he stalks old Phantom, a bloodthirsty black cougar described as the "biggest, meanest and smartest cat" in that part of the country.  The vicious animal has for eight years escaped all attempts to capture him.  Will he escape Arty?  What other enemy awaits as Arty rides the range?  If you like a challenge, then step into the saddle   and join Arty on his hunt for Phantom--but I warn you...stay out of sight!
