Are You Thirsty?

Thrist is one of the strongest physical needs we can experience.  Water is vital for health, and even life itself.  God uses this familiar need to picture our spiritual desires.  The unsaved know the thirst of disappointment from worldly things they thought would satisfy their souls.  Christians also experience spiritual thirst as they lack the joy in living and the power in service that Jesus gives.  Dealing with causes and solutions for this condition, Dr. Rice stresses the abundance of the blessing God wants to pour out upon His children.  Our excuses will avail nothing in the judgment.  Won't you ask God for this holy thirst so He can quench it with his blessing upon you and make you a great blessing to others around you?
